It's amazing the sheer aesthetic appeal of the food we see while traveling. At left, individual fruit salads at La Boqueria Market in Barcelona, molded goat cheese in Norway, Serbian shaped bread and Marzipan fruits at an international grocery store in Vienna.Most of our travel picnics involve bread, cheese, fruit and an astounding variety of dessert. But this week, my digital picnic choices are for a purely decadent all-dessert wishing-it-were-summer pretend winter picnic.
